“Why are they being lifted so quickly? Some restrictions remain, and certain measures will only be removed after one or two weeks. This was announced by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, in response to reports that Moscow is preparing to lift a number of restrictions.

Peskov noted that the previous measures imposed due to the coronavirus have not been fully revoked in the city. He also clarified that the decision to lift restrictions in the capital was made by Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.
