During this period, we had 35 infected individuals, of whom 20 have recovered and returned to service: Minister
For several months now, our people have been fighting against the invisible enemy – the coronavirus. This was stated today by the Emergency Situations Minister Felix Tsolakyan during a briefing following a meeting of the commandant's office.
According to him, during this time, the Ministry of Emergency Situations' 911 service has responded to only 2264 reports related to the coronavirus. Relevant information has been provided to 244 of our citizens, 983 have received medical consultations, and 987 have received psychological support.
By my instruction, the psychological service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has transitioned to remote service. This means that citizens can receive psychological support via video call by calling 911,” said Tsolakyan.
Unfortunately, our system also has infected individuals who have contracted the virus from their relatives. During this period, we had 35 infected individuals, of whom 20 have recovered and returned to service. Of those, 15 are still undergoing treatment. We have 82 self-isolated individuals,” the minister emphasized, adding that in any case, everyone can call 911 if they need support or assistance.
“It would be good,” Tsolakyan concluded his remarks.
