Cleaning Routes of Approximately 50 Tourist Attractions in Armenia's Regions and Yerevan Commences
Starting today, cleaning work will commence at approximately 50 tourist attractions and main routes of tourism significance in the regions of Armenia and Yerevan, involving the participation of over 200 tour guides. This initiative is a collaboration between the Armenian Tourism Committee, the Yerevan Municipality, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, the regional administrations, and the Armenian Association of Professional Tour Guides, coming together under the campaign "Let's Do Something Together."
The aim of this initiative is to address community issues through the joint efforts of state bodies and citizens. The main objective of this large-scale campaign is to ensure a clean environment for all visitors at tourist sites and to support tour guides and accompany officers who have been left unemployed due to the pandemic.
The cleaning work is expected to last for about a month in the selected tourist locations, following a specific schedule. The entire process will be organized in accordance with epidemic safety regulations.
