Driver Trapped Under Capsized Vehicle Dies

The National Center for Crisis Management under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia received a call on June 7 at 01:34 AM reporting an accident in the vicinity of a polyclinic on 7th street in Nubarashen, Yerevan. The vehicle had overturned, and the driver was trapped underneath.

A firefighting team from the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue department in Yerevan, along with a specialized rescue squad, was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a BMW X5 vehicle (driver Robert E., born in 1980) had veered off the traffic lane, collided with roadside poles and a fence of one of the houses, and overturned. Before the rescuers arrived, the driver’s body was removed from under the overturned vehicle by force.

The rescuers disconnected the power supply of the vehicle and shut off the gas cylinder valve.
