American businessman and co-founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, has denied accusations and reports regarding a supposed desire to microchip people under the pretext of developing a vaccine against the new coronavirus. This was reported by BBC Russian.

"I've never dealt with things like microchips. It's very hard to refute it because it's so strange," said the entrepreneur. He also expressed concern that such theses could hinder the distribution of the vaccine and the achievement of herd immunity.

Gates noted that after the creation of the vaccine, it is essential to direct it primarily to countries with weak healthcare systems and where social distancing conditions are lacking.
