Martin Tsarukyan Warned Urgently Close the Border with Iran: Abovyan Reminds Simonian
It is very good that Mr. Tsarukyan's statement was reproduced; well, let me remind you of a couple of other things. This was stated today in the National Assembly by Arman Abovyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia faction, addressing Alen Simonian, who reminded colleagues from the podium of Gagik Tsarukyan's statement that the coronavirus does not affect good people, while the faction leader does not participate in the sessions.
“In March, Mr. Tsarukyan warned that it is urgent to close the border with Iran. What response did we receive? A smile, everything is normal. Mr. Tsarukyan, who said an economic crisis is coming, what did you say? The Minister of Economy was standing here smiling at me, well, we are in this situation, what crisis? The scenario exists, but I don’t know,” said Abovyan.
According to Abovyan, due to this, in the last 2 days we have at least 500 cases of illness. “Today we have a disgraceful economic situation and you know about it. We have an extreme situation in the social sector. The responsibility cannot be placed on the people; then what is the government for? Developments taking place today are dangerous, and you know that steps must be taken immediately to get out of this abyss,” he emphasized.
