One of the Eight Individuals Who Died from COVID-19 Was a 69-Year-Old Woman Without Chronic Illness, Health Ministry Reports
As of June 1, 11:00 AM, a total of 9,492 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed, with 3,402 recoveries and 139 deaths. The Ministry of Health reports that there are currently 5,896 patients receiving treatment for the virus. In total, 58,668 tests have been conducted.
This indicates that there are 210 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 16 recoveries. Regarding the deaths, the deceased patients were aged 81 (male), 63 (male), 65 (male), 73 (female), 82 (female), 67 (male), 81 (male), and 69 (female). Aside from the last one, all others had accompanying chronic illnesses.
The previous day, 5 deaths were recorded where the patients tested positive for the virus, but died due to other illnesses. The total number of such cases is 55.
