Natural Gas Supply to Armenia Temporarily Halted by Gazprom Armenia
Starting from June 2, the natural gas supply to Armenia will be halted for 96 hours to carry out repair works on the North Caucasus-Transcaucasia main gas pipeline and the Red Bridge-Berd main gas pipeline. This information has been confirmed by Gazprom Armenia.
During this period, gas supply to consumers in the republic will continue without restrictions.
Since its commissioning in 1992, it has not been possible to conduct inspections and necessary operational and technical maintenance on the Red Bridge-Berd main gas pipeline for nearly 28 years.
As a result of intergovernmental agreements between Armenia and Georgia, partial repairs will take place on the mentioned main gas pipelines during the specified period.
