33-Year-Old Employee of South Caucasian Railway Electrocuted While Working on Electric Pole

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a tragic incident occurred in the Kotayk region yesterday, May 26. At around 16:30, the police station in Hrazdan received a call from the Hrazdan medical center reporting that a deceased man had been brought in by the duty medical team.

As reported by Shamshyan.com, police and investigators have determined that the deceased was 33-year-old Gnel K., a resident of the village of Kaghsi. On the same day, he had climbed an electric pole to carry out installation work in the section that passes through the village of Kaghsi on the railway line of the Hrazdan-Charenzavan section of the South Caucasian Railway.

During the course of his work, he was electrocuted and fell, which was determined to be the cause of death.

Investigations are underway in the Kotayk regional investigative department regarding the incident. Several examinations have been appointed, including a forensic examination of the body. According to sources, Gnel K. was an employee of the South Caucasian Railway.
