EU Allocates 150 Million Euros to Georgia for COVID-19 Pandemic Response
The European Parliament has approved a macro-financial assistance package to allocate 150 million euros to Georgia to address the economic impacts of the coronavirus pandemic. This was announced in a press release posted on the European Parliament's website.
At the end of April, the European Commission announced a package of assistance amounting to 3 billion euros for combating the coronavirus in 10 countries, including Georgia.
