Tensions Persist in NSS Following Kharamyan's Appointment
The newspaper "Zhamanak" reports: "Following the appointment of Argishti Kharamyan as the first deputy director of the NSS, tensions within the agency have not subsided. Moreover, new developments have emerged.
According to information obtained by "Zhamanak", Arthur Aghajanyan, the head of the NSS investigative department, has submitted his resignation. Additionally, it has been reported that the deputy head of the NSS investigative department has also submitted a resignation request, though this request has not yet been approved.
We inquired whether Kharamyan's appointment was the specific reason behind these resignations. Our source responded, "Such coincidences cannot be random." Meanwhile, rumors are already circulating within the NSS that Kharamyan is being prepared for the position of NSS director."
