Pedestrian Struck by Armenian Ministry of Defense Employee Passes Away in Hospital
On May 9, around 21:15, in the Tavush region, 25-year-old Minas Karapetyan, a resident of Berd, struck 58-year-old Arayik Zakaryan, a resident of Tavush village, with his Opel Astra vehicle (license plate 36 CT 068) on Mashtots Street. Zakaryan succumbed to his injuries on May 10 at the 'Berd' Medical Center.
According to Shamshyan.com, the vehicle has been moved to a special parking area under the direction of the Tavush police investigator.
Sources indicate that driver M. Karapetyan is serving in a military unit under the Armenian Ministry of Defense.
