19-Year-Old Soldier Dies in Artsakh

On May 10, at approximately 18:25, a serviceman of the Artsakh Defense Army, born in 2001, Sasun Sureni Margaryan, received a fatal gunshot wound under still unclear circumstances while stationed at a guard outpost in the eastern direction. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh.

An investigation is underway to clarify the details of the incident.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh expresses its deep sorrow over the loss and offers condolences to the family members, relatives, and comrades of the deceased soldier,” the agency's statement notes.
