Hunting Shotguns Seized from a Tsaghkadzor Resident's Niva
During a recent inspection aimed at combating poaching, employees of the Animal World Control Department of the Environmental and Mining Inspection Agency stopped a Niva vehicle belonging to K.A., a resident of Tsaghkadzor, on May 2, 2020. The vehicle was found in a hunting ground outside the hunting season timeframe, violating the requirements of point 7 of Article 21.1 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on 'Hunting and Hunting Management Regulations.'
As reported by the Environmental and Mining Inspection Agency, two hunting shotguns were seized from the vehicle. An administrative case has been initiated, and penalties will be implemented.
It is reminded that according to the order No. 279-N of the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia dated August 20, 2019, the amateur hunting season ended on February 29, 2020. The inspection agency urges adherence to legal practices and the preservation of wildlife. Inspections are ongoing.
