Accident on the Zovuni-Mrghashen Highway: Injuries Reported

On May 5, at 19:01, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting an accident on the Zovuni-Mrghashen highway in the Kotayk province.

A fire brigade team from the Emergency Situations Ministry’s Yerevan rescue administration was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that two vehicles, a "VAZ-2107" (driver: Gevorg S., born 1991) and an "Opel" (driver: Voskanyan G., born 1981), had collided.

The drivers were hospitalized at the Armenia Medical Center, while the passenger of the "VAZ-2107," Sergey S. (born 2004), was taken to the St. Astvatsamin Medical Center. Before the arrival of the rescuers, the valves of the gas cylinders of the vehicles were shut off by the local forces.
