Tree Falls in Yerevan, Damages Gas Pipeline
On May 3, at 17:32, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting that a tree had fallen on the roadway near the bridge at Korea Gorge in Yerevan, damaging a gas pipeline.
A rescue team from the Special Rescue Operations Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. Before the rescuers arrived, local authorities had already chopped up the fallen tree.
The nearby gas pipeline was damaged, but no gas leak was detected. The rescuers removed the chopped tree from the roadway.
