Traffic Management Changes on Four Streets in Yerevan
Starting from April 30, 2020, traffic organization changes will be implemented at pedestrian crossings without traffic lights on four additional streets in the capital, aimed at ensuring traffic safety.
The streets include: Moldovakan Street at number 27/7, in the area of the intersection with Noragavit 1st Street 6th Street, Glinka Street at number 19, and M. Babajanyan Street at numbers 46 and 146.
On these pedestrian crossings, as well as in the area of Arshakunyats Avenue at numbers 12, 15, near the Acharian Street stone, Leningrad Street at number 10, Tbilisi Highway at number 73/2, and Kanakertsi Street at number 117, traffic lights operating in 'pedestrian call' mode will be installed in the near future. The order of movement for vehicles and pedestrians at these road sections will be regulated by traffic lights with pedestrian intervention.
Simultaneously, work is being done to install traffic lights operating in 'pedestrian call' mode at pedestrian crossings at the intersection of Baghramyan Avenue and Yerznikyan Street, and at the addresses of Z. Kanakertsi Street numbers 63 and 65.
