Car Falls 3.5 Meters into River in Syunik; Driver Hospitalized

On April 30, a major traffic accident occurred in the Syunik Province. Around 14:20, Davit P., a 28-year-old resident of the Baghaberd neighborhood in Kapan, lost control of his Mercedes vehicle with license plate 36 PM 463 on Charents Street under unclear circumstances. The car veered off the roadway, collided with a concrete barrier, and fell approximately 3.5 meters, landing upside down in the Vachagan River.

According to Shamshyan.com, the driver was transported to the Kapan Medical Center with injuries from the accident. Emergency responders from the Kapan Fire and Rescue Service arrived at the scene with one firefighting unit.
