Video: 28-Year-Old Gyumri Resident Detained with Marijuana

On April 28, around 6:30 PM, criminal investigators detained a 28-year-old resident of Tirdat Architectural Street in Gyumri on suspicion of illegal drug production, storage, and use. This information was reported by the Armenian Police.

During a personal search, a unique-smelling dried, crushed green substance was found. According to the detainee, the plant material is marijuana, which he harvested last summer from wild cannabis bushes. He had used some of it and kept the rest for later smoking.

The circumstances are being clarified. A forensic chemical examination has been appointed, and materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
