Forest Ranger Cuts Down Trees Illegally in Tavush
On April 28, at 19:30, the Tavush police received information that a 43-year-old forest ranger from the Artsvaberd forestry branch was illegally cutting down trees in an area known as "Mehrab." Upon arriving at the location, police discovered 11 freshly cut tree stumps of various species and diameters, approximately 1.5 cubic meters of wood, a "UAZ" vehicle, and a chainsaw.
The vehicle has been taken to a secure area of the department. A professional examination has been appointed, and materials are being prepared for further proceedings.
