Turkey's Coronavirus Cases Exceed 110,000
As of the evening of April 26, it has been reported that 99 people have died from the novel coronavirus in Turkey. This information was shared by Turkey's Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca on his official Twitter account, as reported by Ermenihaber.
In the post, the minister noted that 2,357 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed from 30,177 tests conducted within a 24-hour period. During the same time frame, there were 99 reported deaths among infected individuals, while 3,558 people recovered.
To date, a total of 29,140 patients have recovered from the pandemic in Turkey, while 1,776 patients are currently in intensive care. Therefore, according to the latest data, Turkey has recorded 110,130 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 2,805 deaths. The total number of tests conducted has reached 889,742.
Koca also noted that the lowest number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Turkey over the past 20 days was recorded on April 26.
