Fatal Accident in Armavir: Opel Veers Off Road, Resulting in 1 Death and 1 Injury

A major and tragic traffic accident occurred in the Armavir region on April 19 at around 21:30. The driver of an Opel vehicle with the license plate 36 LD 496 veered off the road in the administrative area of the village of Aghavnatzun under still unknown circumstances, overturning multiple times and landing in a field.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the crash, two individuals were transported with bodily injuries to the Vagharchapat medical center. However, one of them succumbed to their injuries before reaching the hospital.

Rescue workers disconnected the vehicle's battery, closed the gas cylinder valve, and secured the area. The police and investigative department are working to identify the driver, the deceased, and the injured party. The injured individual was subsequently transferred from Vagharchapat medical center to a hospital in Yerevan.
