31-Year-Old Man Arrested for Murder of a Citizen

The Investigative Committee of Armenia's Gegharkunik region has revealed several circumstances surrounding the apparent murder of a man that occurred on the road from Tsovagyugh to Shorja to Vardenis. Charges have been filed against a 31-year-old resident.

According to earlier reports, during the night of April 17, between 00:00 and 01:00, the 31-year-old man discharged a licensed "MR-155" hunting shotgun toward a "Porsche" vehicle at the 29th kilometer mark of the Tsovagyugh-Shorja-Vardenis road, resulting in fatal injuries to the driver of the mentioned vehicle.

Based on the evidence collected, the 31-year-old man has been charged under Article 104, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code (murder). He has been arrested. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
