Wuhan Laboratory Head Claims Artificial Creation of Coronavirus Is Impossible

The head of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Yuan Zhiming, has stated that humanity lacks the resources to artificially create a virus that would share characteristics with the novel coronavirus. This statement was reported by TASS.

He emphasized that there is no evidence of artificial synthesis of such an infection. According to the expert, while some do assert that COVID-19 was created by humans, "the scale of work they claim would exceed the capabilities of all humanity."

"I will never believe that humanity possesses sufficient knowledge to synthesize such a virus," Zhiming added.
