Illegal Nets Seized from Water Areas of Ararat Region
On April 18, employees of the Environmental Protection and Mineral Inspection Body conducted checks in the water areas of the Ararat region of Armenia, specifically around the Ranchpar and Hovtashen reservoirs and various sections of the Sevajur and Hrazdan Rivers.
More than ten illegal hanging nets (known as "screens"), as well as a bottom net were confiscated. Explanatory work was carried out, and warnings were issued. The inspections will be of a periodic nature, and measures of responsibility will be applied.
