COVID-19 Cases in Russia Exceed 6,000 in a Single Day

According to reports from TASS, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Russia increased by 6,060 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 42,853 across all regions of the country. During this period, 3,291 people recovered, while 361 patients have died.

The operational headquarters fighting the spread of the new coronavirus announced that cases have reached 42,853 in 85 regions of Russia, reflecting a 16.5 percent rise. On the last day alone, 234 individuals were discharged from hospitals, while a total of 3,291 people have recovered since the outbreak began. Additionally, 48 patients succumbed to the virus in the past day, accumulating to 361 fatalities overall.
