First Case of Coronavirus Confirmed in Nor Geghi Community
On April 18, the first case of coronavirus has been confirmed in the Nor Geghi community of Kotayk Province; the patient is a 58-year-old man. This was stated by Vardan Papyan, the mayor of Nor Geghi, in a conversation with NEWS.am.
“As far as I know, the circle of contacts has already been identified, fortunately, it is not large. There are 4 people in his family—himself, his wife, and children. He has been in contact with 2 friends, one of whom had construction work done at his house. At this moment, the man and his wife have been taken to the hospital, while the others are self-isolating at home until they can be tested,” said Papyan.
