75-Year-Old Patient Dies from Coronavirus Infection

Yesterday, a death case was registered. A 75-year-old patient had contracted a coronavirus infection and was diagnosed with bilateral infiltrative pneumonia. The woman also had underlying chronic conditions including stage III arterial hypertension and stage II-III obesity. During treatment, she developed acute respiratory failure of stage III, distress syndrome, and atherosclerosis predominantly affecting the brain and coronary vessels.

This information was shared by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Alina Nikoghosyan, on her Facebook page, adding that there are confirmed 47 new cases of coronavirus disease and 121 recoveries.
