Extraordinary Accident in Front of the National Assembly

Today, April 17, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. Around noon, a ZIL vehicle with license plate 095 LS 64, belonging to the Central District Municipality, partially overturned due to the subsidence of a manhole at the intersection of Baghramyan Avenue and Demircian Street.

According to Shamshyan.com, fortunately, there are no reported injuries. Arsen Harutyunyan, the duty officer at the Yerevan Road Police Operational Management Center, informed the Road Police's first battalion, from which Road Police officers arrived on the scene.

The police are working to identify the driver. The source reports that the rear tire of the truck ended up in the manhole because the builders likely put their “heart and soul” into the construction, and if they had done their work properly, the ZIL would not have fallen today.
