Relatives of the Deceased Can No Longer Enter Armenia by Exception
Emergency Coordinator Tigran Avinyan signed a new decision today, April 16, which reduces the number of cases considered special and urgent for entry into the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the regulation, exceptions to the ban on entering the territory of the Republic of Armenia could be made in cases of health, economic, or production emergencies, as well as for official visits or for relatives of the deceased attending a funeral or memorial service.
According to today's decision of the Coordinator, entry for relatives of the deceased to participate in funeral or memorial services is now prohibited, as this provision is no longer an exception.
We remind you that yesterday the coordinator signed a decision to close the entrance and exit of Norashen. The reason is that during a funeral in the village, there was contact with a confirmed positive case that had arrived from another country, violating the coordinator's instructions.
Norashen will remain closed until April 18 at 23:59.
