Average Prices of Three Product Categories Decrease in Artsakh

The state commission regulating public services and economic competition reported that on April 16, 2020, an observation of 43 wide-range consumer goods across 20 commercial outlets in Stepanakert resulted in a recorded decrease in average prices of three product categories compared to the previous day.

Specifically, the average price decrease was noted for cucumbers at 1 kg, which fell by 116 drams or 17%, diesel fuel at 1 liter that decreased by 30 drams or 7.5%, and hand sanitizer solution (alcohol gel) which dropped by 40 drams or 5.1%.

In the markets where these price drops were recorded, there are dominant economic operators present, particularly in the diesel fuel sector.
