The Number of Coronavirus Victims in Turkey Reaches 1198
As of April 12, Turkey has reported an additional 97 deaths due to the novel coronavirus (Covid-19). This was announced by Turkey’s Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca on his official Twitter account, as reported by Ermenihaber.
The Minister noted that 4,789 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed from 35,720 tests conducted within a 24-hour period. During the same timeframe, there were 97 fatalities among infected individuals, while 481 patients have recovered.
In total, 3,446 patients have recovered from the pandemic in Turkey. Currently, 1,665 patients are in intensive care. According to the latest data, Turkey has recorded 56,956 confirmed cases of coronavirus and a death toll of 1,198. A total of 376,100 tests have been conducted.
