Why Doesn't Armenia Follow Georgia's Example in Compensating Utility Payments? A Question for the Prime Minister

Georgia intends to reimburse its citizens for utility payments. If Georgia is doing so, why doesn't Armenia, which is experiencing economic growth ahead of Georgia, support its citizens?

This question was posed today to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The Prime Minister responded that the Georgian government subsidizes citizens who consume a certain amount of gas or electricity. According to the Prime Minister, this amounts to about 25,000 drams, whereas the mechanisms implemented by the Armenian government provide much more support to vulnerable groups.

This support, according to Pashinyan, will be accessible to all vulnerable groups.
