It Seems That the Entire City is Heading to Yerevan: Echmiadzin Mayor
Echmiadzin Mayor Diana Gasparyan is urging residents to leave Echmiadzin only in cases of extreme necessity.
“Dear fellow citizens, the purpose and logic of closing the entrances and exits of Echmiadzin is to ensure that residents leave the city only in cases of extreme necessity, and to allow for monitoring of those who are leaving. Seeing the queues and congestion of vehicles creates the impression that the entire city is heading towards Yerevan; the only change is that those departing are now being temperature-checked beforehand. This situation needs to be resolved quickly. Thus, we call upon you and urge you to stay home and to leave the city only in cases of extreme necessity,” Gasparyan wrote on her Facebook page.
