Testing for Coronavirus Cannot Be Based on Individual Whims, Says Arsen Torosyan

There is no one more motivated than health authorities to prevent the spread of the virus; testing cannot simply be based on individual whim, based solely on a citizen's desire, said Armenia's Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan at a press conference today.

"From an epidemiological perspective, there is no point in conducting tests solely based on desire. We have had an unpleasant incident where we yielded to such demands. I regret that," the speaker noted.
