Government Prohibits Wood Export Outside EAEU Borders
During today's government meeting, restrictions were imposed on exports. From now on, the export of timber and other wood raw materials and finished products from Armenia is prohibited. This was announced by the Minister of Environment, Erik Grigoryan.
Grigoryan explained that this applies to exports outside the EAEU, as exports to EAEU countries will still be permitted. The ban is set for 6 months, and if member states of the Union do not raise objections, the prohibition may be extended for a longer period.
