Syrian Sappers Demine Suburbs of Aleppo

Syrian demining teams continue the process of clearing mines in the Zahra neighborhood of Aleppo, which was recently liberated from militants. This was reported by РИА Новости.

The main line of defense for the terrorists runs directly through residential buildings. The first, second, and third floors contained well-fortified firing points. During their retreat, the militants managed to take their weapons with them, but they left behind ammunition.

The terrorists were forced to leave quickly as Syrian snipers occupied the area. In Zahra, it is possible to find homemade mines, unexploded ordnance, and specially hidden improvised explosive devices.
