Karapet Chalyan Becomes Bronze Medalist at European Championship
Greco-Roman wrestler Karapet Chalyan has become a bronze medalist at the European Championship. In the 77 kg weight category held in Rome, Italy, Chalyan competed against Haik Mnatsakanyan from Bulgaria for the bronze medal. However, Mnatsakanyan suffered an injury during the match and was unable to continue fighting.
This European Championship is not a qualifying event for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
