Government Exempts Two Football Players from Mandatory Draft
During its latest session, the government granted exemptions from mandatory military service to two football players, Jordi Joao Monroy Ararat and Arthur Gegham Danielyan, from the 2019 winter draft until the 2021 winter draft. According to the justification for the decision, they are exempted from military service for their "significant achievements in the field of sports" and their participation in the national football team of Armenia.
