Jerusalem Will Not Be Given to Israel, Says Erdogan
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that the "deal of the century" proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump is a "legalization of Israel's annexation of Palestinian lands," as reported by РИА Новости.
He emphasized that such a plan to transfer Jerusalem to Israel is unacceptable, as it violates the rights of Palestinians and legitimizes the Israeli occupation. Erdogan stated, "Jerusalem will not be given to Israel. This plan does not lead to peace." Earlier, Trump had introduced the "deal of the century" project aimed at resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The project received support from the Israeli Prime Minister, but Palestine rejected Washington's proposal.
