Roads Closed and Difficult to Navigate in Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of January 28 at 23:00, there are roads closed and difficult to navigate across the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats pass is closed for trucks and difficult to navigate for passenger vehicles. The Sotk-Karvachar road is impassable for all types of vehicles.
In the Syunik region, there is black ice present on roads in certain areas.
According to information received from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepanstinda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles.
