12 People Hospitalized in Turkey with Suspected Coronavirus Infection
In Turkey, 10 Chinese tourists and 2 Turkish citizens have been hospitalized on suspicion of being infected with a new strain of coronavirus.
Samples from the hospitalized individuals have been sent to the Turkish Ministry of Health for analysis. Until the results are received, the tourists will remain in a special infectious disease unit of a local hospital.
Previously, it was reported that cases of the illness have also been recorded in Australia, Vietnam, South Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore, the United States, Thailand, France, Cambodia, and Japan.
It is worth noting that the total number of pneumonia cases caused by the new strain of coronavirus in China has reached 4,515, with 106 fatalities recorded.
