Iraq Base Housing American Soldiers Hit by Rocket Attack
The Balad military base in Iraq, where American soldiers are stationed, has come under rocket attack. According to Reuters news agency, at least seven mortar shells have landed within the base's territory.
It has been reported that four Iraqi soldiers were injured in the incident. The shells struck the airstrip located inside the base. Balad is situated approximately 80 kilometers north of the capital, Baghdad.
