Threats Against Senior Investigator and Damage to His Phone

The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that senior investigator Hrant Vardanyan has been threatened with death, and his phone has been damaged.

It has become known to "Zhoghovurd" that a criminal case involving defendant Nerses Kosoian has been under investigation by senior investigator Hrant Vardanyan. During a dispute regarding Kosoian's case, his brother Tigran Kosoian resorted to non-life-threatening violence towards the investigator and issued death threats.

On November 27, 2019, around 15:30, a confrontation took place with Hrant Vardanyan near the administrative building of the Yerevan police department on 162a Movses Khorenatsi Street, during which he broke Vardanyan's Samsung Galaxy S10 phone, causing property damage amounting to 235,000 AMD. Tigran Kosoian has been arrested.
