No Phone Call Made During Plane Crash, Ukraine's Prosecutor's Office Denies
Reports have circulated in the media claiming that one of the crew members of the Ukrainian Boeing 737-800, which crashed in Tehran, called their mother during the incident and stated that the plane was falling due to gunfire.
The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has denied this information. According to the Prosecutor's Office, there is no record of such a call made by any crew member.
It is worth recalling that the Boeing 737-800, belonging to Ukrainian International Airlines, was operating a flight from Tehran to Kyiv and crashed two minutes after departing from Imam Khomeini International Airport. A total of 176 people lost their lives in the tragedy.
