Iran Refuses to Hand Over Black Boxes of Crashed Boeing Plane to Boeing
Iran has refused to hand over the black boxes of the Boeing 737-800 aircraft that crashed near Tehran to its manufacturer for investigation. This was reported by the Iranian news agency Mehr.
“We will not hand over the black box to the manufacturer and the Americans,” stated Ali Abedzadeh, head of Iran's Civil Aviation Organization, as cited by the media outlet. Abedzadeh emphasized that the cause of the crash will not be disclosed until the analysis of the black box data is completed.
