Hovhannes Azoyan Recognized as Victim in Incident at Hrazdan Gorge

On January 3, actor Hovhannes Azoyan has been recognized as a victim in the incident that occurred at Hrazdan Gorge. This was reported to the media by the head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Investigative Committee, Naira Harutyunyan.

The suspect is a 30-year-old resident of Yerevan. Based on the preliminary materials, a criminal case has been initiated by the Malatia police department on charges of hooliganism, which has been forwarded to the territorial investigative department. An investigation is underway.

Earlier, Hovhannes Azoyan had mentioned in a Facebook live stream that a man had hit him at Hrazdan Gorge: “This person was specifically harassing all the girls with abusive language, with a boastful demeanor, having conflicts with everyone, and simply exercising physical violence against an unfamiliar girl. When I saw this scene, I could not tolerate it and politely pointed it out to him, which led him to provoke a fight and dispute with me. I can't say more, as an investigation is ongoing,” Azoyan stated.
