Former Appearance of Republic Square Can Be Restored, Minister Says
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia, Arayik Harutyunyan, has shared photographs on his Facebook page showing the old buildings beneath Republic Square. The minister noted that this appearance could potentially be restored.
"This could become a reality soon. I am discussing the possibilities of restoring the old town with specialists. For now, this is all," the minister wrote.
