Civil Aviation Committee: No Grounds to Halt Flights Through Iranian Airspace
Dear citizens,
We inform you that the RA Civil Aviation Committee is in constant contact with EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency), Eurocontrol (European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation), as well as the aviation authorities of Ukraine and Russia.
The Civil Aviation Committee announces its decision that there are currently no grounds to halt flights through Iranian airspace. At the same time, we note that the Civil Aviation Committee continues to monitor the further developments and will keep the public informed about its decisions.
We inform you that the next flight by "Armenia Airways" from Yerevan to Tehran is scheduled for January 10 of this year. Additionally, the flight from Erbil to Yerevan and back by "UR" airline is scheduled for January 12 of this year. In case of any changes to the flights, the Civil Aviation Committee will notify before the operations commence.
