How Children Returned from Orphanages Live in Gyumri
Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan visited two families returned from orphanages in Gyumri on December 30, accompanied by Vahan Tumasyan, the head of the Shirak Center NGO. According to the Public Relations Department of the Human Rights Defender's Office, the first family visited has nine children, and the parents are prepared to meet the needs of the children returned from the orphanage.
During the visit, the Human Rights Defender spoke with the children and listened to the parents. The second family, which the Human Rights Defender visited, received significant support from Vahan Tumasyan.
“In these pre-holiday days, it is especially important for children to feel the love and care of a family and to await New Year miracles together. Children should grow up in families, and the state should do everything possible to meet the needs of children returned from orphanages, preparing them for independent living,” emphasized Arman Tatoyan during the visit.
The Human Rights Defender congratulated everyone on the New Year and Christmas, wishing everyone good health and family happiness, and informed them that they can receive support from the Human Rights Defender on their pressing issues.
